Rozel is excited to join the AIA team overseeing the 907 navigation app. Previously, Rozel supported the AIA as a founding member of the Alaska Family Resource Center Network leadership team, and has been a volunteer Board Member at Beacon Hill. Rozel is passionate about seeing communities with safe and healthy children and families. Her most recent roles have included overseeing training activities as a Program Manager at Alaska Behavioral Health, and in education administration as the Manager of Operations at a network of Title 1 charter schools in the Pacific Northwest focusing on social-emotional learning. In addition to her administrative background in education and behavioral health, her 20 year career in Alaska has also included working in housing programs, being a small business owner, and she holds a bachelor’s degree in International Cultural Studies. Rozel enjoys traveling and trying new foods, comedy, and watching documentaries. She is a proud mom to daughter Lily, a student athlete at Bellevue College, and son Jaycen, who is currently serving as an airman in the United States Air Force in Washington DC. She has been happily married to Jayson for 12 years, and together they have three fur babies, Shaka, Nala and Loki.
